Educational content. This article summarises published research on extracellular vesicles as a category. It does not describe or make claims about any product supplied by ExosomeShop, which are cosmetic-grade preparations for topical professional use and are not intended to treat any condition.
Wholesale exosome serum is sold on particle counts. Shelf life, base formulation and documentation matter more. Here is what to compare.
Liquid or freeze-dried
Liquid serum is convenient and immediate; it also degrades from the day it is made and needs cold storage throughout. Freeze-dried serum holds its characterisation for the full shelf life and is reconstituted with a diluent at the chair. For most clinics buying wholesale, freeze-dried is the lower-risk stock item and liquid is for high-volume days.
Reading the certificate of analysis
- Size distribution
Nanoparticle tracking analysis histogram with mode and mean. Exosomes cluster between 30 and 150 nm. A broad or large-particle distribution suggests debris or aggregates.
- Particle count
Particles per mL. Useful for dose consistency across lots; useless as a quality measure on its own.
- Purity
Particle-to-protein ratio. Higher means fewer contaminating proteins per vesicle.
- Markers
Presence of CD9, CD63, CD81; absence of markers such as calnexin that indicate cell debris.
- Safety
Sterility, endotoxin, mycoplasma. Required for anything applied after a procedure.
Shelf life and storage
Ask for the stated shelf life under refrigeration and, for liquid, the in-use window after opening. Ask whether the supplier has stability data or just a date on a label. Freeze-dried products should also state how long they tolerate room temperature in transit.
Pricing and minimums
Reputable suppliers quote after verifying your license and usually tier pricing by monthly volume. Anyone posting wholesale prices publicly and shipping to anyone is not operating a professional channel. Our pricing goes out to verified practices through the intake form.
